We have 3 exciting announcements to make to the Hoboken faithful!
Firstly, our Sunday squad participated in the EACA league this year which recently held its end of year awards ceremony. The club was represented by one of our long standing members Jit Singh on the big night and we are proud to report that 2 Hoboken players took home awards.
Hemal Chalishazar was awarded a trophy for his impressive, match winning figures of 6-20 against Camelot CC. Additionally Amit Singh took home 3 awards, 2 for his centuries this year and was awarded MVP for the division! Many congratulations, a remarkable achievement by both players.
Secondly, please note that we can confirm the Hoboken CC Awards night has been rescheduled for January 11th 2019. Please save the date and sign up on the Facebook event or by responding to this mail!
Finally, the club is planning to gather for social drinks on Friday December 14th – we will be joining our Queens teammates for food, drinks and dancing (you don’t want to miss out on the dancing). For those travelling from the city we will organize a group to meet somewhere central and go out together. More details to follow on this shortly, but save the date and sign up for the Facebook event / respond to this mail so we can organize the group going out!
