Match report On a bright sunny day, Captain Samay won the toss and inserted Stallions to bat first to get to know the pitch and par score about the ground. Our opening bowlers bowled very well with out any rewards. Both of their(our) opening batsmen retired on 10 overs. Bowlers has been given short spell mainly to give opportunities to new lads and get to know about them. Sagar and Vick, both scored and quick fire 50's. Hardeep, Mayank, Sanjeeb and Samay bowled the last 10 overs only for 57 runs and keeping the target with in the reach. Have to mention the catch taken by new lad Jay. good diving effort unlike hoboken. Chasing a huge 263, Hoboken lost early wickets and in a spot of bother. Sanjeeb and Harish steadied the ship and scored crucial runs. Sanjeeb scored 50 and retired. Samay scored a captain innings and scored 50 in no time and retired too. 10 overs, 70 to get, with a match well in balance, Mayank scored a brutal 36 and finished the match in 31.2 overs with more than 3 overs to spare. It was a great start to the season and good set of new comers. Key take aways of the match - Exciting new talents, with both bat and ball. Bad nemesis still continues about dropping catches. Need to shrug it of. And finally, the last batch reached home at 1 after a lot of beers. Thanks to Stallions team for being a wonderful host.
