Hoboken Cricket Club Lost by 2 runs!!!

Match report A stunningly well-snatched defeat from the throat of victory. Restricted PCC to 154 off 27.1 overs, mostly because of good fielding (3 run-outs), although there were a few dropped catches. Started well in reply with 90-0 from Dempsey and Randall, only to end up needing 12 off the last over. Having Barnacle Brereton at the crease then is not your ideal strategy and despite a well run three off the last ball we fell short.
Special thoughts to Chris Spaeth from PCC who needed 60 stitched after splitting his skull on a drive from Dempsey.
